With each bride my approach is a little different. Sometimes we start with a blank slate, other times brides come to me with an idea or detail we can then develop into an overall look. Kristin had amazingly fun ideas like Talavera Canisters imported from Mexico for vases and matching house numbers for the tables.

I found Spanish-lace tablecloths but used square tables to keep it cool. We took photographs of the canisters and sent them to the baker who reproduced them on the wedding cake. Rosenka Bougainvillea was used to finish the look.

We created a hip lounge in one corner of the winery punctuated by a fringe lamp that reminded me of a sombrero. I loved taking cues from the Cinco de Mayo theme but presenting them in a modern and elegant way.
