The menu was a mixture of local favorites such as a Tri-tip Barbecue and also Seared Ahi so a East meets West theme seemed fitting. For the centerpieces I chose three different vases. One flower was featured in each and displayed on a bamboo runner. The couple had found an origami style paper sash for the invitation and it was carried through on the program and wrapped around one of the vases.
Roses and hydrangea in the Beet and Azalea hues along with Chocolate Cosmos and Succulents rounded out the East meets West theme. Apple Green tablecloths and chocolate napkins kept it modern and the couple danced under several sized oriental lanterns.
I love all my clients but this was family.
